On this tour of the Viseu Dão Lafões region, we aim to take you on a deeper understanding of the region through a unique two-wheeled experience.
This circuit is a unique experience that combines natural landscapes, historical heritage, and local culture on an intercity route of approximately 76 km.
This adventure begins at the Roman Baths of São Pedro do Sul, with a guided tour that transports you to the region's ancient history. We then continue on a panoramic route through Santa Cruz da Trapa, Poço Azul, and the Convent of São Cristóvão de Lafões, sites of great beauty and heritage value.
The route continues to Carriça River Beach and Eng. Duarte Pacheco Dam, ideal spots for short breaks and admiring the landscape. We then take a longer break at Vale de Cambra Urban Park to rest a bit from the journey and relax after the miles of excellent curves we've left behind.
For lunch, we'll fire up our motorcycles and head to São João da Madeira, where they'll be waiting for us at the "O Bóinas" restaurant. After lunch, we'll cross the lobby for a guided tour of the Chapel Museum.
Inside, we'll learn about the ancient hat industry and how it plays a role in the history of Portugal and the world over time.
