A route where the past meets the present.

The history of a village, as well as that of some buildings belonging to illustrious figures of the past, churches, chapels, and monuments, is told in an accessible and relaxed way.

Enjoy a circular route lasting 2.5 to 3 hours, easy to complete, covering only 3 km of local stories, legends, and traditions. Taste the magnificent Vouzela pastries made with "dough as thin as angel hair" and the incredible sweetness of the egg custard, and let your taste buds explode with flavor.

A wonderful historical center, narrow, well-maintained streets with houses bearing coats of arms, fountains with a reputation for Cupid, and other legends always linked to this village that will welcome you with open arms.

Walk where the train once ran, see the stunning bridges, the old "Roman" bridge, and the giant railway bridge of the old Vouga Valley Line with 15 masonry arches and a height of 40 meters. You can see up close and even enter the large E202 locomotive.

See the old tracks and the old railway station in the village of Vouzela.

Feel at home in a village that has so much to discover. Enjoy the best that central Portugal has to offer.
